This line of Stripe is produced along side our Super Stripe boas. Currently we don't know the genetics of this line, so we will have to run some breeding trials and hopefully discover the nature of the trait's inheritability. The striping seems to be variable and we have produced animals with minimal stripes to animals with full body stripes. The stripe can be solid, running the length of the animal's spine, or a zig zag, similar to what we have seen in some Jungles. They seem to just appear serendipitously and not as a recessive or dominant trait. We will be attempting to breed our Striped Het Super Stripe male (pictured above) to our non-striped Het Super Stripe female (picture top left below) in the 2007-2008 breeding season to try to better understand the genetics. One current theory is that these stripes are visual Hets for Super Stripe, like in the yellow-belly or piebald Ball Pythons. It has been confirmed that Stripes from this line have been produced from breeding between two non-striped parents.
