The Mojave gene has been found to be quite dynamic. With Mojave balls, the black base body color is faded to a rich brown with varying degrees of blushing along the spine. The lateral alien face pattern which balls are known for become more oval shaped, and their rich brown body fades to cream or white. The lateral pattern also inherits a more gold or blonde appearance. Most Mojaves also exhibit some level of dorsal striping, exaggerating a balls typical neck and tail stripe. The Mojave gene has been found to be one ingredient to produce the coveted Leucistic Ball. Because this gene affects pattern and color, I believe that the Mojave will become even more popular as more crosses are produced.
Existing Designer Morphs: Super Mojave or Blushing Blue-eyed Leucistic (Dominant Mojave), Pastel Mojave or Pastave (Co-Dominant Mojave and Co-Dominant Pastel), Mojave Ghost (Co-Dominant Mojave and Homozygous Ghost), Granite Mojave (Co-Dominant Mojave and Homozygous Granite).
